FARMINGTON — Franklin County Babe Ruth League held Opening Day ceremonies at Hippach Field, Monday afternoon, before league teams played a doubleheader that evening.

Mt. Blue softball coach Chuck Wallace was invited by league president Cathy Rogers to throw out the first pitch. Wallace tossed one down the middle while league teams looked on.

FCBRL will be comprised of five teams this summer, they include AYS Eagles, AYS Hawks, Farmington Falcons, Farmington Merchants and Wilton Bears.

Franklin County Babe Ruth League rosters:

AYS Eagles – Connor Beaulieu, Parker Beaulieu, Micah Corkum, Trey Davis, Evan Dawson, Michael Dyke, Austin Gilboe, Nathaniel Goodine, Jacob Lamontagne, Galgano Lance, Nicholas Lombardi.
