FARMINGTON — Mt. Blue girls tennis pulled off a major win, Tuesday afternoon, defeating visiting Brewer, 3-2.

Both teams entered the match with identical 8-3 records. The Witches were No. 4 in Eastern Maine Class A standings while the Cougars were No. 5. It was the last match of the regular season for both teams.

Team quarterfinals in tournament play begin next week.
