WILTON — Wilson Lake Inn has recently received two awards from TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel review website, recognizing ongoing outstanding hospitality and guest satisfaction.
The inn has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence for the fifth year running, and is one of the first of an elite group to be inducted into TripAdvisor’s inaugural Certificate of Excellence Hall of Fame.
Membership in the Hall of Fame is awarded only to businesses that have won the Certificate of Excellence five years in a row. The Certificate of Excellence, launched in 2010, is awarded to organizations based on feedback made by their guests on TripAdvisor, recognizing review ratings, overall rating and quantity of reviews.
To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
Wilson Lake Inn is on the shore of Wilson Lake in the foothills of Western Maine. It offers a variety of 30 guest rooms that include two-bedroom suites and studios. Guests may enjoy kayaking, canoeing or unwinding around the perennial gardens. It is close to area restaurants and many attractions.
The inn is owned and operated by Susan Atwood and Tom Whalen. For more information visit www.wilsonlakeinn.com, or call 207-645-3721.
