Oxford Hills AARP to meet
PARIS — The Oxford Hills Chapter of AARP will meet at noon on Monday, June 8, at the First Congregational Church on East Main Street.
Lunch will be served at noon. Reservations are required by calling 207-744-9069 by Friday, June 5.
The business meeting will begin at 12:45 p.m. and include a “fireside chat” to plan further summer events.
Members are reminded of the monthly support of our local food pantry as well as the continuation of the puzzle/book swap.
Sumner Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary to hold annual sale
SUMNER — The Sumner Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will hold their annual yard, plant and food sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the fire station, Route 219.
Donations are welcome.
There will be a door prize.
A raffle will take place for a fish-n-fry basket. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5.

Youth to conduct car wash
WILTON — The Wilton Fish & Game Youth League will hold a car wash fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Wilton Franklin Savings Bank.
Final preschool storytime at Rumford library
RUMFORD — The final Preschool Storytime for this school year will be held at the Rumford Public Library at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 10.
The theme is “Picnics,” so there will be picnic stories and a snack on the library lawn . All area children ages 2 to 5 are welcome. Storytime will resume in the fall.
North Jay Grange hosting public supper
JAY — The North Jay Grange No. 10 will host a public supper from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at the grange on Route 17.
Entertainment will be proved by Nickles and Dimes.
The cost of the event $7 for adults and $3 for children 10 and younger.
