AUBURN — School Committee member Peter Letourneau plans to announce a run for Auburn mayor at a press conference at 1 p.m. Monday, July 6, at Court Street Pizza, 84 Court St.
Letourneau and wife, Sandy, are longtime residents of Auburn.
Letourneau is retired from Geiger, where he most recently was vice president of national accounts for the manufacturing division.
He serves on the Auburn School Committee and is the head of Tri-County Mental Health Services’ Audit Committee.
He has volunteered as board president of Tri-County Mental Health Services, board member with Big Brothers Big Sisters, with American Red Cross and with Literacy Volunteers of Androscoggin.
Letourneau served in the U.S. Army from 1967 to 1969 and attended Bentley College.
