WILTON — Once again, the Challenger Sports’ British Soccer Camp program is being offered at Kineowatha Park.

The camp will be held Monday, July 13, through Friday, July 17. According to their website, Challenger Sports’ British Soccer Camp is the most popular soccer camp in the country. Knowledgeable coaches from Britain travel to the United States to work exclusively on this program.

There are two camps being offered. Children between the ages of 3 and 6 will meet from 8-9 a.m. They will be taught basic soccer drills and skills. Wilton residents will pay $71 while the fee for non-residents is $76.

Camp for children between the ages of 7 and 14 will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily. Each day includes individual foot skills, technical drills, tactical practices, coached scrimmages, and a daily World Cup tournament.  In addition, campers will be treated to a rich cultural experience and lessons on respect, responsibility, integrity, leadership and sportsmanship. The resident fee for this camp is $130 and non-residents is $135.
