WATERVILLE — The following area students were named to the dean’s list at Colby College in Waterville for their outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2014-15 year. The dean’s list at Colby is highly selective, reserved for students with a semester GPA of 3.76 or higher.

Alyssa Andrews of Norway, a member of the Class of 2017. She is the daughter of Jeffrey and Roberta Andrews of Norway and attended Oxford Hills Comprehensive HS.

Xiaojie Chen of Wilton, a member of the Class of 2016. He is the son of Liting and Sumei Chen of Wilton and attended Mount Blue High School.

Anna Herling of Bowdoin, a member of the Class of 2016. She is the daughter of Douglas and Linda Herling of Bowdoin and attended Cheverus High School.

Joshua Hews of Poland, a member of the Class of 2017. He is the son of Mark and Deborah Hews of Poland and attended Hebron Academy.

Holly Hogan of Lisbon, a member of the Class of 2016. She is the daughter of Sandra Hogan of Lisbon and Daniel Veno of Bowdoinham, and attended Lisbon High School.

Samantha Jones of Buckfield, a member of the Class of 2015. She is the daughter of Kirk Jones and Kathy Saarinen of Buckfield and attended Buckfield Junior Senior High School.

Megan Labbe of Jay, a member of the Class of 2016. She is the daughter of Tracy Arcari of Jay, Maine and Peter Labbe of Jay and attended Spruce Mountain High School.
