OXFORD — The Uptown Cruizahs will hold its 7th Annual Car Show Sunday, Aug. 2, at the New Balance Factory Store on Route 26.
There will be 23 vehicle classes including antique automobiles, street rods, trucks, tractors, Jeeps and present-day vehicles. There will be three awards in each class, featuring a Wayne Penley Restoration award. Show participants vote at 12:30 p.m. and awards will be announced at 2 p.m.
There will be day-long giveaways and food will be available. Red Wing will provide music. Those attending are encouraged to bring chairs.
Registration is from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. and the cost is $5 per car. Admission is free for those attending, but donations will be accepted. The event is rain or shine.
Proceeds from this event will benefit local organizations such as Santa Visits Oxford, Maine Veterans’ Homes and Good Shepherd Food Bank.
