DENMARK — Denmark Arts Center will host a printmaking class for children featuring artist-in-residence Joanne Gravelin.

The week-long class will take place from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, July 27, to Friday, July 31.

Children will explore printmaking techniques such as screen printing and relief printing. They’ll learn several ways to screen print, including using their own drawings to create printed images. They will also learn how to easily make stamps and print multi-color linocuts. The class will culminate in a collaboratively-created backdrop for the DAM JAM, which will be on display at the Saturday, Aug. 1, event.

The cost of the class is $50 for the week, and scholarships are available. The class is open to those 10 and older.
