NORWAY — The Second Congregational Church U.C.C., Main St., will hold its 16th annual Tent-N-Treasures Yard Sale from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 22.

“We look forward to a very large crowd. If you haven’t been before, don’t miss it. We have something for everyone; from books to baby stuff, sinks to sofas and tools to trinkets. All items are reasonably priced, clean and in working order. We will also have fresh produce, baked beans and baked goods,” said Bruce Davison, yard sale coordinator.

The funds from the yard sale allow the church to open its doors to groups like Alcoholics Anonymous, Girl Scouts, and to host free suppers, Christmastide concerts and children’s theater.

The rain or shine sale, under 11 tents, will fill the entire church parking lot.

The church is actively seeking community volunteers to assist with set up on Thursday morning, Aug. 20, and all day Friday, Aug. 21. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact the church office at 743-2290.

Once the tents are set up, clean furniture in good condition may be placed under the tents.

Coffee and doughnuts will be for sale in the morning, followed by hot dogs and soda will later in the day.
