BRADLEY – Three classes will be offered this Saturday, August 8 at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum.
From 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Janet Alexander will be teaching warping a loom. The museum is hoping for some volunteers to be ready to take over when Janet moves in the fall. This will be volunteer training time!
From 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Byron Aubrey and Ian Walker will be doing an extended blacksmith class. There will be some lessons and then hands-on for a good afternoon of working with hot metal! The cost is $40.
From 10 a.m.-noon, Charlie Green will be doing a hands-on tool sharpening class–bring your blades and get a good edge. The cost is $20.
Great day to learn some classic skills! Call (207)-974-6278 or contact the museum via the websitehttp://www.maineforestandloggingmuseum.org/
