RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Lorraine M. Briere was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Alfred Jacques was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier was the altar server and Mark Belanger was the organist.

Music selections were “I Know That My Redeemer Lives,” “Because the Lord is My Shepherd,” J’irai la voir un jour” and “I Am the Bread of Life.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by daughter-in-law, Mary Briere. The New Testament was proclaimed by daughter, Rita Gallant. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by granddaughter, Lianne Gallant. Offertory gifts were presented by grandchildren, Cody Briere and Lianne Gallant. Personal reflections were shared by son, Roy Briere. Interment was in St. John Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Briere, Cody Briere, Roy Briere and Stephen Briere.

A reception served by the Daughters of Isabella was in the parish hall.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
