LEWISTON — Benjamin Stein, M.D., M.P.H., has been appointed to the Central Maine Medical Center medical staff. He is practicing with Central Maine Gastroenterology, 77 Bates St., Lewiston.
Stein completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, N.Y., and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H.
He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and book chapters in the field of gastroenterology. He has particular interests in colorectal cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease and functional gastrointestinal disorders.
Stein practices in collaboration with Oswaldo Bisbal, M.D., Mark T. Branda, M.D., Emil P. Miskovsky, M.D., Scott Murray, M.D., and Theresa Taylor-Libby, F.N.P. The practice can be reached by calling 207-784-5784.
