LEWISTON — Motorists can expect traffic stops of up to 25 minutes Wednesday and Thursday nights on Alfred Plourde Parkway.
Construction crews will be placing structural steel at the Exit 80 Interchange, according to a Maine Turnpike Commission news release. The stoppages will occur between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
The work depends on good weather, but drivers should prepare for delays or seek alternative travel routes on those evenings, the Turnpike Commission advises.
Roadway message boards will inform approaching travelers of closures, and Highway Advisory Radio broadcasts on 1610 AM will be used for updates.
