Season outlook: Spruce Mountain had a tough introduction to a new conference last year and now returns after graduating 12 seniors, including Barnes, an all-state midfielder. Alexa Perkins is back after missing last year with an injury. The Phoenix are young and many players are stepping into larger roles. Spruce Mountain aims to continue to build and improve last year’s standing in the KVAC.
