NORWAY —  Frost Farm Gallery will hold a gallery opening reception, meet-and- greet with West Paris artist Kevin Daley on Friday, Sept. 11 from  5 to 8 p.m. The show is titled “Comfort in Isolation: A Quest.”

Frost Farm Gallery is located in the historic David W. Frost farm, 272 Pikes Hill Road in Norway.

Daley teaches in an alternative education program. He began painting in 2004 under the instruction of Maine artist Pat Chandler. Both a plein air painter and studio painter, Daley particularly enjoys working with subjects in coastal and interior Maine. He values his regular painting trips to Monhegan Island, often with Biddeford artist Diane Noble.

Daley’s work has been seen at Elizabeth Moss Gallery in Falmouth, and at the Maine House Arts Gallery in Gray, as well as in numerous shows in Maine and Massachusetts. He has studied with a number of other artists, including Janet Manyan, David Lussier and Michael Ranucci.

Gallery-goers will also enjoy live improv keyboard by Mike Maurice at the opening reception. The show is free and open to the public, and the exhibit will continue through Saturday, Sept.6. FMI call the gallery at 743-8041.
