RUMFORD — Repair of the Hosmer Field bathrooms and the approval of a parade permit for the upcoming Pumpkinfest are among items to be discussed at the Thursday, Sept. 3, Board of Selectmen meeting.

The meeting will start at 6:30 p.m. in the Rumford Falls Auditorium, and will be preceded by a 6 p.m. executive session to discuss a personnel matter.

The board will vote on whether to approve a bid for the repairs of the Hosmer Field complex bathrooms, which were damaged in a July 24 arson.

During a Rumford Parks Commission meeting in August, Parks Superintendent Mike Mills said that cleaning the bathrooms would likely cost between $5,000 and $6,000, while he still had to send out bids for the removal of the bathroom’s ceiling, the sanding and painting of the walls and replacement of two of the urinals.

Other items on the agenda include the following:

* Approval of liquor license and special amusement permit for Gatch’s LLC.
