GARDINER — Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center on Water Street will present Capital City Improv at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12.

Capital City Improv is an improvisational comedy troupe that uses audience suggestions to create a completely customized comedy show. Based in Augusta, Capital City Improv has been making people laugh with its quick-witted, lighting-fast, short-form improvisation. The show is 80 minutes.

Capital City Improv was founded by actor, producer and comedian Dennis Price and features local performers David Greenham and Liz Helitzer. Rounding out the group from Ellsworth are Jen Shepard and Larrance Fingerhut, musical director.

This is a family-friendly show. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $5 for children 17 and younger.
