Samuel and Kasey


YARMOUTH — The wedding of Kasey May little and Samuel Welles Moss was held at 1 p.m. on May 9 at Sacred Heart Church in Yarmouth. The Rev. Daniel Greenleaf officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Moss is the daughter of Michael Higgins of Auburn, Doug and Paula Wright of Windham and Kevin and Laura Little of Brackney, Pa. Mr. Moss is the son of Robert and Julia Moss of Yarmouth.

Shawna Hatfield, best friend of the bride, served as maid of honor. Nicole Gallagher, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Molly Moss and Abigail Moss, sisters of the bridegroom, and Elizabeth Karr, Brittany Bolduc, Jennifer Scruggs and Erica Lacasse, friends of the bride. Londyn Wright, niece, was flower girl.

Edward Cook, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Ushers were Brian Genest, brother of the bride, and Andrew Stegemann, Jared Romeo, Clayton Brittingham, Brandon Giberson, Andrew Malloy and Rob Lapolla, friends of the bridegroom. Junior usher was Elijah Gallagher, nephew, and ring bearers were Alyx and Cedric Gallagher, nephews.

A reception followed at the Portland Country Club in Falmouth, after which the couple traveled to St. Lucia. They are residing in Brunswick.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of New England. She is also a 2015 graduate of the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. She is a resident physician in psychiatry at Maine Medical Center.

Mr. Moss is a 2004 graduate of North Yarmouth Academy and a 2008 graduate of College of the Holy Cross. He plans to graduate in 2016 from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is currently a fourth-year medical student applying to residency in internal medicine.
