WILTON — Police are investigating a burglary at Rocky Hill Landscaping on Cemetery Road on Wednesday, according to officials.

The burglary was reported at 12:35 a.m. Security cameras show two people entering the property and taking about $2,000 in merchandise from a commercial marijuana growth area, according to Wilton police Chief Heidi Wilcox. The intruders forced their way in, she said.

The landscaping business is owned by John Black, who is a town selectperson.

State police and a K-9 unit assisted Wilton police, she said.
