A newcomer is running for Lewiston Ward 2 City Council. Marc Roy, a Lewiston native, will be a great asset on the city council.
As a certified public accountant, he will bring a background of experience in budgeting and finance. His military experience in the U.S. Navy took him out of Maine for a while but has also brought him back to a different Lewiston, one that is changing. He speaks with enthusiasm about the possibilities of a greater Lewiston.
He is a man who believes in giving back to his community. He is the treasurer of L/A Arts and supports Grow L+A and the Riverfront Island Master Plan.
He is married with two children in the Lewiston Public School system, which makes him a well-rounded person to have as a representative for Ward 2.
On Nov. 3, Lewiston can move forward by electing Marc Roy as councilor for Ward 2.
