After spending most of the first two periods in the penalty box, the L/A Fighting Spirit righted the ship in the third frame and remained unbeaten in 2015 in a 5-0 win over the Northeast Generals in Canton, Mass., on Tuesday.

Five different players scored for the Fighting Spirit (7-0), who will play their first showcase games this coming weekend at Skate 3 Arena in Tyngsboro, Mass.

Nick Hudson, Colby Siering, Cam DuFault, Walker Hamilton and Thomas Kuntz all scored in the third frame for L/A, with Hamilton, Hudson, Dylan Vrees, Austin Siering and Jordan Crowe picking up assists.

Zachary Barry picked up the win between the pipes for the Fighting Spirit, stopping 14 shots in the shutout.

Northeast (1-6) keeper Trevor Trudeau stopped 65 of 70 shots in a stellar performance despite the loss, keeping the visitors at bay and his Generals in the game for much of the afternoon.
