RUMFORD — Tim Hofmann of the Laugh Shack, a comedy networking company, will host comedy night at 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, at 49 Franklin’s Mystic Theater.
Hofmann established the Laugh Shack in the basement of his home, and the company features stand-up comedy events all year long throughout Maine. Hofmann will serve as host for four comics performing at this event.
Headlining will be Collen Doyle of Vermont, who is an actor, producer and comedian. Mike Johnson, Connor McGrath and Angela Merrill will also perform.
“The Mystic Theater feels like a comedy club in Boston or New York. The cocktail tables dimly lit by candle light and a great stage complete with professional lighting and sound. It’s really a top-notch venue for comedy,” Hofmann said.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Snacks and a cash bar will be available.
The cost is $15 at the door. Advance tickets are $12 at Bartash’s and All That Jazz on Congress Street in Rumford and at www.49franklin.com.
