PARIS — Oxford Hills Music Art and Drama Boosters are holding a Princess Brunch on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon at Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School cafeteria.

Six of the Grimm fairy tale princes and princesses will be played by high school students to entertain children and parents who attend.  Nan Brett at the Ballroom in Harrison donated her time to teach the students to waltz.  There will be refreshments, face painting, singing, dancing, and a chance to meet and have your photo taken with the princes and princesses.

Tickets are $10 each and are on sale at Happi Chicks bake shop and Hair Plus in Norway or by calling 583-6379. There are advance tickets only and seating is limited to keep this event intimate so children can have an up close and personal experience with the characters.

OHMAD Boosters is a nonprofit organization that serves the entire school district in grades K-12. They raise money and use it to fund events in the arts in all of the district’s schools. This organization is responsible for many things such as sending all third grade students to the symphony and is helping the high school chamber choir sing in an All Maine Honors Choir at Carnegie Hall in New York City next spring. All proceeds from the Princess Brunch will go to the boosters and will be used directly to help fund the arts in the school district.

Donations to the boosters are always welcome and can be sent to OHMAD at the high school 256 Main St., South Paris, ME 04281.
