NEW GLOUCESTER — Pineland Farms will host its Second Annual Harvest Festival and Haunted Woods Walk, a two-day family friendly event including harvest activities for all ages.

There will be two evenings of haunting for the brave on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 23 and 24.

Pinelands’ Education Department will host activities from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday including apple cider demonstrations, a “Click, Clack, Boo” woods walk, face painting, farmers Olympics, a 4-acre corn “maize,” and a complimentary showing of “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.” Costumes are highly encouraged, and parent supervision required.

For those who want a good scare, a spooky corn “maize” and haunted woods walk will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Walks will leave every half hour, beginning with an optional trip through the corn “maize” (flashlights are required) and finishing with a scare-your-pants-off journey through the dark forest.

Harvest Festival and the Haunted Woods Walks will be held rain or shine. Admission is $5 per person, with tickets available at the Market and Welcome Center.
