RUMFORD — The Halloween Illusion Show will take place at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Magician Scot Grassette has been preparing “big tricks” that will be appealing and appropriate for all ages. These are stage illusions that require plenty of space and the support of a sound and lighting technician.

Assisting Grassette will be two students of the “School of Magic and Showmanship,” Jade Kubic and Brielle Flynn. Relax in the season while people appear, disappear, and possibly even float suspended by apparently no possible means. Prepare to witness a child’s doll instantly transform into a living girl! Grassette will also act out a scene with volunteer children from the audience where they become the stars of the show.

Entrance at 49 Franklin in the Mystic Theater is at the top parking lot behind the building. Admission is $10 per person at the door. Advanced tickets are $8 and available at Bartash’s and All That Jazz, both on Congress Street, and online at www.49franklin.com.

Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase. For more information please call 207-369-0129.
