1948 – 2015

LISBON — Bertrand L. Levesque, 67, of Lisbon, died unexpectedly on Saturday, Oct. 10, at his home.

He was born on April 16, 1948, in Lewiston, a son of the late Roger P. and Gertrude (Montreuil) Levesque. Bertrand attended St. Louis School and Walton Elementary School, went on to finish high school in the military, then went on to attend military trade school.

Bertrand proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, serving two tours in Vietnam; first in artillery and second as a Vietnamese adviser.

After his honorable discharge, he opened his own BL electric business and also worked at Maine Electronics. He then went on to work for Bath Iron Works until his retirement.

He enjoyed hunting with his brother, Moe, especially deer and duck hunting. He also could be found fishing, which he did with all his brothers.

He is survived by his two children, Anna Proctor and Vincent Levesque; and his grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers, Joe Levesque and his wife, Helen, and Donat Levesque and his wife, Diane; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was also the brother of the late Jackie Ouellette, Moe, Emile and Michael Levesque.
