RUMFORD — A funeral service honoring the life of Jean Sedgeley Belyea was celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, at SG Thibault Funeral Home.
The Rev. John Gensel officiated. Special music was “In the Garden” by Anne Murray. A poem titled “Loves Promise,” written by daughter, Vickie Young, was read by granddaughter, Katie Sirois. Proverbs 31:10-31 was read by granddaughter, Jennifer Lynds. The eulogy was offered by daughter, Claudia Comeau.
Interment will be in the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta. A reception, catered by SG Thibault Funeral Home, was served by the Daughters of Isabella.
Services were under the care and guidance of SG Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
