UPDATE: The Brunswick Police Department reports that missing mother and her 5-year-old son are safe.
BRUNSWICK — Brunswick police are investigating the reported disappearance of Sarah Walker-Meade, 33, and her son Joseph Katula, 5 years old.
The two were reported missing by Walker’s parents on Tuesday.
According to a written statement from Patrol Commander Marc Hagan, Walker-Meade and her son live on Range Road and were last seen at that address on Saturday evening. Also missing from the residence is Walker-Meade’s blue 1999 Volvo, Maine registration 1637 SZ.
On Tuesday evening, police in Westford, Mass., received an operations complaint on a vehicle with a registration matching Walker-Meade’s, but responding officers were not able to locate the vehicle, according to Hagan.
Anyone with information is asked to call Brunswick police at 725-5521.
