FARMINGTON — Dr. Connie Adler was presented the Franklin Community Health Leadership Award at the Franklin Community Health Network’s annual meeting Oct. 19.

Presenters at the meeting included Rebecca Arsenault, FCHN president/CEO; Joseph Bujold, past board chairman; Dr. Heidi Decker, medical staff president; and Clint Boothby, board chairman.

Adler was cited for practicing medicine in Maine for 32 years as a family medicine physician specializing in women’s health; serving as the medical director of the Maine Breast and Cervical Health program for five years; her extensive work with a women’s clinic in Nicaragua and with cervical treatment programs in Nicaragua, Honduras and El Salvador; and being a leader in family planning services and with domestic violence and sexual violence response programs. She has also served on numerous community committees and boards for decades.
