RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial Honoring the Life of Gerald “Uncle G” Arsenault was celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19, at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Greg Dube was the celebrant, Bernard Poirier and Brooke Buotte were the altar servers and Mark Belanger was the organist.

Music selections were “J’irai la voir un jour,” “Be Not Afraid,” “Precious Lord, Take My Hand” and “Let There Be Peace on Earth.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by Janice Quattucci and the New Testament was proclaimed by Sue Tozier. Prayer of the Faithful was offered by Elaine Gamache.

Offertory gifts were presented by Fran and Marshall Ducas and personal reflections were shared by Barbara Quotoia. Pallbearers were Brian Arsenault, Steven Arsenault, Peter Arsenault and Jeff Fortin.

Interment was in St. John Cemetery.

A reception catered by S.G. Thibault Funeral Home was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the parish hall.

Services were under the care and guidance of S.G. Thibault Funeral Home, Cremation & Monument Services, 250 Penobscot St., Rumford.
