AUBURN — Skelton Taintor & Abbott attorneys Michael Poulin and Rebecca Webber will be among the speakers at the Troubleshooting HR Legal Nightmares seminar.
The daylong event will take place Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Fireside Inn & Suites in Portland. It will be attended by attorneys, paralegals, human resource professionals, corporate executives, accountants, payroll professionals and employee benefit consultants. Continuing education credits are available in multiple categories.
Speakers will address a diverse range of human resources issues faced by employers and discuss how to be proactive in avoiding problems and potential legal liabilities. Poulin will cover the topic Employee Misclassification and Other Wage and Hour Mistakes. Webber will take on Wellness Programs That Invite Legal Liabilities.
Webber’s practice areas include employment litigation, civil rights litigation, employment law, counseling and compliance and employment law training.
Poulin’s practice focuses on health care and hospital law, employment law and labor law.
