Engine – 3, “A” Platoon, making quick work of a vehicle fire on I-95 this morning. Kudos to the Maine State Police and Maine DOT who did an exceptional job of managing traffic and keeping our workplace safe.

AUBURN — Firefighters were at the scene of a vehicle fire Friday morning on the Maine Turnpike.
The Maine Department of Transportation reported the burning vehicle was at mile 76 of the southbound lanes. Exit 80 is the Lewiston exit.
Both lanes of traffic were shut down, and the DOT was recommending drivers find alternate routes.
The Maine Turnpike Authority reported the road was clear about 10:20 a.m.
