DEAR SUN SPOTS: The American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 24 will host a craft and food fair at the American Legion, 184 Congress Street in Rumford, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7. Crafters may rent tables. The cost for one table is $15 and two for $25. Baked goods may not be sold on rented tables. DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will host its annual Winterberry Holiday Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, at the Foss Mansion, 19 Elm Street in Auburn.

WLU is seeking a few items to make this fundraiser a fun event. Clean, not-stained, holiday tablecloths are needed as are holiday aprons. Donated items for the raffles are also needed. The public can donate memberships to various organizations and gyms, jewelry, electronics such as iPads, themed baskets, toys, crafts, and more. Raffle winners will be notified immediately and do not have to be present to win.

The fair will offer handmade crafts, Christmas items, baked goods, raffles, elegant treasures, books and jewelry. Dried floral elements will be for sale to make holiday arrangements. This event is open to the public. Money raised goes toward maintaining the Foss Mansion as a museum, scholarships, and hosting cultural, educational and intellectual events and activities for the community.

ANSWER: Yes, Sun Spots has the schedule for the 10th annual FEZtival of Trees hosted by the Kora Shriners at their temple on Sabattus Street in Lewiston. The event opens each day at 10 a.m. beginning Saturday, Nov. 21, and runs through 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 28. There will be no event on Thanksgiving though. You can learn more about this holiday event when the Sun Journal publishes a guide to it on Sunday, Nov. 15. The guide will be inserted in that day’s paper and published online at specials.sunjournal.com/.
