BANGOR (AP) — Federal prosecutors say a 35-year-old man from Canaan was sentenced to more than six years in prison for conspiring to distribute cocaine and oxycodone.

Judge John A. Woodcock also sentenced Frank Curtis to three years of supervised release on Monday. Court records say Curtis conspired with others in Waterville and surrounding communities to obtain drugs from out of state and distribute them.

Prosecutors say Curtis is the 22nd person to be convicted and sentenced in the federal investigation into drug distribution around Waterville.

A call to Curtis’s lawyer was not returned.
