RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for Donald M. Knapp of Rumford was conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, at Parish of the Holy Savior, St. Athanasius – St. John Church, 126 Maine Ave., Rumford, with the Rev. Greg Dube as celebrant. Altar assistant was Bernard Poirier, and organist was Mark Belanger.

Music selections included “Be Not Afraid,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Here I Am Lord,” and “Let There Be Peace On Earth.”

The First Reading from the Old Testament from the book of the prophet Isaiah was pronounced by Doris Bourret. The Second Reading from the New Testament from the first letter of Paul to the Thessalonians was pronounced by Jessica Currier. Presenting the offertory gifts were Sylvia Touchette and Susan Currier. Prayers of the Faithful were pronounced by the Rev. Greg Dube. The eulogy was presented by Richard Currier. Following the Mass, a reception was held in the Parish Hall of the church and served by the Daughters of Isabella.
