1967 – 2015

CARTHAGE — Louis T. “Ted” McDonald, 48, a resident of Carthage, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at his home.

He was born July 23, 1967, in Farmington, the son of Frank McDonald and Helen (Tibbetts) McDonald. Ted attended school in Jay/Livermore Falls and Rumford/Mexico.

He worked as a truck driver for J & R Transport, Aulenback Trucking and Decoster. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, four-wheeling and watching NASCAR. He was a New England Patriots fan and loved his Chevy trucks.

He is survived by his companion of 27 years, Renee Goyette of Carthage; one son, Anthony McDonald and his wife, Kelsey, of Carthage; one daughter, Kayla McDonald of Livermore Falls; grandchildren, Gregory and Bradley Damran; brothers, Arthur McDonald and his wife, Bernie, of Florida, Frank McDonald and his wife, Shelly, of Pennsylvania; sisters, Wanda LaRivara of North Carolina, Anita Holman and her husband, Marshall, of North Carolina and Carol Libby and husband, Randy, of Livermore Falls.
