Maine State Junior Gold Bowlers held their third tournament of the season at Family Fun Bowling Center in November.
U20 qualifiers are Brandon Dubuc (1086 pins for five games) and Jacob Dubuc (1063 pins), earning them each a spot in the 2016 Junior Gold Championships in Indianapolis. The U15 qualifier is Christopher Haney (1028 pins). This month’s U20 tournament winner is Brandon Dubuc and the U15 winner is Christopher Haney, earned through head-to-head matches. Brandon Plummer (1043 pins) and Darren Forkey, Jr. (1001 pins) also had high series.
Brandon Dubuc is from Auburn and is currently bowling for University of Pikeville in Kentucky and his brother Jacob bowls out of Sparetime Recreation in Lewiston. Haney is from Brewer and bowls out of Family Fun Bowling Center in Bangor. Plummer is from Scarborough and bowls out of Spare Time Family Fun in Portland. Forkey is from Waterville and bowls out of Sparetime Recreation in Augusta.
