LEWISTON — The Lewiston CareerCenter will host a job fair from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Dec. 7, at its building on 5 Mollison Way, Lewiston. All employers will be hiring.
Employers participating in the job fair include: AngleZ Behavioral Health, Arcadia New England, Assistance Plus, Bank of America, Bonney Staffing, Carbonite, Great Falls Marketing, H & R Block, Handcrafted Delivery Service, J F Murphy Homes, Kelly Services, Kornerstone Home Care, Labor Ready, Lewiston Public Schools, Maine Army National Guard, Maine Behavioral Health, Manpower, Merry Meeting Behavioral Health, McKesson, Oxford Casino, Papa John’s Pizza, Paychex Inc., Rite Aid, Sequel Care of Maine, Spurwink Services, Support Solutions, Stericycle Solutions, The Driving School, Time Warner Cable, Tradesmen International, and more.
Positions available include class A and B drivers, adult case managers, MHRTs, PSSs, RNs, DSPs, technical support, sales representatives, housekeepers, security, food and beverage, machine operators, engineering, aviation, logistics, delivery drivers, payroll specialists, homemakers, yard jockey, recycling, home health, CMRAs, CNAs , cashiers, pharmacy techs, educational technicians and construction
Attendees should bring a resume and be prepared to have an “interview-like” conversation with employers to discuss skills, knowledge areas and abilities. Job seekers should also be dressed for an interview.
CareerCenters, part of the Maine Department of Labor, offer a variety of workshops and services to help people find employment or upgrade skills. Each center provides several public-access computer workstations with Microsoft Office software, resume-writing and cover-letter software, Internet access and O’Net software for skills assessment. All CareerCenter services are free of charge.
