WILTON — The board of directors for Western Maine Play Museum met for its second annual board meeting Nov. 30.

The board welcomed two new members, Cindy Stevens and Kariss Richards. Stevens is a retired educator who now works at the University of Maine at Farmington as a field supervisor for practicum and advance practicum students. Richards is a loan officer at Otis Federal Credit Union in Jay.

The board also re-elected officers Angela McLeod as president, Lori Lewis as vice president, and Nikki Knowles as treasurer. Marylena Chaisson was newly elected as board secretary.

In the last year, the museum has raised over $180,000 through grants and donations. It’s working t0ward closing the financial gap of $115,000 in order to begin the reconstruction of its building next spring.
