LEWISTON —  “Holiday in Lights” with Mitch Thomas and Friends will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 19, in the performance hall at the Franco Center. The doors open at 6:15 for a pre-show reception.

Thomas, a local pianist/singer/songwriter who is the center’s executive director, and who also directs and performs with Community Little Theatre, will present several seasonal favorites, including some of his own compositions and arrangements, such as “Light A Candle for Peace”.

The event features several other local artists, including: Erin Menzer, “Maine’s Got Talent” winner and judge; soprano Kristen J. Thomas; Maddy Leslie, who has performed in many Community Little Theatre productions; her sister, Mia- Angelina Leslie; Tiffany Warren, who was “Dorothy” in CLT’s “The Wiz;” Nakesha (Kay) Warren, her sister, who starred in CLT’s productions of “Hairspray” and “Into the Woods,” and directs shows at CLT.

Also performing are popular local singers Carl Steidel and Caroline Young Coffin; Jody Steidel and Steve Fleck on trumpet;  Aya Wakita and Ryan Spooner on violin; Jeff Munson on bass; Neil James on guitar; Jon Whitmore on organ; Stephen Saxon on piano; Jeff Mayerson on drums; and local vocalists Hayden Thomas, Heather Marichal and Jay Barrett.

The event will kick off with a ceremony honoring two local benefactors of the performing arts center. Many special guests and dignitaries will be in attendance.

The Franco Center is handicap accessible.
