1935 – 2015
LEWISTON — Marna Eldene Culleton, 80, of Lisbon, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston.
She was born in Rowley, Mass., on Feb. 23, 1935, to parents Chester and Mary (Pettipas) Goulding. She was later raised by her grandfather and grandmother Pettipas.
Of the things she enjoyed doing, such as crocheting Afghan blankets and playing bingo, she especially loved helping other people.
Marna worked as a domestic for many private homes in the Lewiston-Auburn area and for several years at the now-closed Pineland Center.
Surviving her are her loving husband, James Culleton; two daughters, Linda Culleton of Lisbon and Carol Friend of Paris; her son, Harvey of North Carolina; six grandchildren; two sisters, Catherine Gravel of California and Sandy Tukey of Maine; and one brother, Walter Goulding.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her grandfather and grandmother Pettipas; a sister, Mary; and her beloved dogs, Baby and Sophie.
