FARMINGTON — Police are trying to identify a woman who was struck and killed while walking east on Wilton Road near Franklin Memorial Hospital early Friday morning, Police Chief Jack Peck Jr. said in a news release.
Police charged 25-year-old Tommy Clark of Industry with felony aggravated operating under the influence of alcohol and impounded his vehicle, the release said.
Farmington police, firefighters and a NorthStar EMS ambulance crew responded to the accident reported at about 1:40 a.m. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the release.
The white female is believed to be between the ages of 25 and 35. She had no identification or cellphone with her, the release said.
Police officers obtained statements from two females who were at the scene and determined that the driver and vehicle involved were at a hotel in Farmington, according to the release. They charged Clark, who submitted to a blood-alcohol test, Peck’s statement said.
The accident remains under review.
