LEWISTON — Snow started to fall across Lewiston and Auburn late Tuesday afternoon.
According to WGME Meteorologist Amanda Jellig, the snow will become more widespread and heavier through the evening hours with snow totals for northern areas and downeast will be near half a foot to a foot.
Southern area will see less, a couple of inches in anticipated.
The storm moves away from the area early Wednesday then there will be gradual clearing with more sunshine but it will be cold and breezy.
Parking Bans have been officialy issued for the towns of Auburn and Lewiston, as follows:
Auburn parking ban 11:00 p.m. Tuesday until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.
Lewiston parking ban 10:00 p.m. Tuesday until 7:00 a.m. Wednesday.
All vehicles in violation of the ban will be towed.
