At 8 p.m., Friday, Jan. 15, Hilton Park performs at Guthries, 115 Middle St., Lewiston. There is no cover and for more information call 376-3344. Hilton Park is an original acoustic/vocal family trio from New England noted for their earthy, emotionally expressive and superbly crafted Americana, folk and blues.  Father-son team Bruce Hilton (guitar, Dobro, weissenborn) and Conor Hilton (guitar, mandolin) started the group in the Spring of 2013, adding Gregg Pannier (piano) a few months later. After the release of their debut CD, “Greener Grass,” in November 2013, in Hilton Park received New England Music Awards “Americana/Roots Act of the Year” and Spotlight Awards’ “Best Americana/Roots Folk Group.” Hilton Park also took home the 2015 New England Music Award for “Best In State: Maine.” Their songwriting style shows New England savvy, yet with roots in the Deep South. The result is a musical blend as original as it is melodious.  FMI: call 376-3344.
