DIXFIELD — Dirigo High School National Honor Society will host its annual free luncheon for senior citizens from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, in the Student Community Center, society adviser Rachel Buck said.

“Any senior citizen that wants a free lunch is welcome to come,” Buck said. “Also, if anyone makes donations, it will go to the local food pantry.”

Seniors can choose turkey or ham, which will be served with baked potatoes, vegetables, rolls, gravy, dessert and coffee.

The food is cooked by locals and the 25 or so society members will serve and assist seniors.
