1912 – 2016
AUBURN — Angie Woodbury Hearn, 103, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, Jan. 13, at her home on Woodbury Hill in Auburn with her children and family at her side.
Angie was born on May 25, 1912, to Samuel and Rufina (Edgecomb) Woodbury. Upon marriage to Raymond Hearn in 1932, Angie raised a family while operating a dairy farm near Penley Corner in Auburn. As a farmer’s wife, she loved to cook, garden and make maple candy.
She enjoyed camping and fishing well into her 80s and loved birds, especially the hummingbirds harvesting nectar from her beautiful gardens.
Survivors include her son, Robert Hearn, and his wife, Lee, of Auburn; her daughter, Dorothy Egers of Yarmouth; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Angie was predeceased by her husband, Raymond, who passed away in 1997.
