GARDINER — The electronic-comedy duo AudioBody will perform at Johnson Hall Performing Arts Center, 280 Water St., at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 22, and Saurday, Jan. 23.

Tickets are $16 for adults, $14 for seniors and $5 for children.

AudioBody’s performance is an electronic journey into seriously spectacular entertainment. During each performance, the AudioBody duo let their habit of one-upping each other steer a spectacle of kaleidoscopic LED strobes, thrilling visuals, juggling, music, contortion and hilarity. They create and build wacky musical inventions including a 15-foot wide drum set rigged with bungee cords, a button mashing robot, and electronic jumpsuits that create sound effects as well as play music. They have appeared at the Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas, Disney Cruise Lines, and even the White House in Washington, D.C., three times. They have also appeared on America’s Got Talent, CBS Sunday Morning, Inside Edition and David Letterman.

They return by popular demand after wowing Johnson Hall audiences last year with their high-energy, dazzling performance, described as “a modern-day Smothers Brothers meets Blue Man Group.”
