1985 – 2016

LEWISTON — Our special “Little Angel” Natasha Lynn Hinkley was called home to heaven on Tuesday, Jan. 12, with her loving family by her side.

Natasha was born in Lewiston on April 23, 1985, to James and Vicki (Dyer) Hinkley.

Natasha attended local schools, graduating in 2005 from Oak Hill High School where she received the loving and compassionate attention of her educators. Natasha participated in the Special Olympics and throughout her lifetime received numerous awards for accomplishments.

Natasha will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor. Her happiest times were those spent gathered with her family and friends sharing laughter, fun and food. She shared her joyous personality freely with those around her and had the ability to brighten each and every day with her presence. Natasha holds a special place reserved only for her in the hearts of us all and we are better people for having shared with her this spectacular journey called life.

Natasha is survived by her parents; grandmother, Linda Cunningham; grandfather, Ivan Cunningham and companion, Clydia Taylor; grandmother, Loretta Hinkley; grandmother, Barbara Hinkely Austin; her many devoted aunts and uncles, Raelynn Cunningham and companion, George Brown, Leon and Ann Hinkley, Cindy Hinkley, David and Marie Hinkley, Richard Tanguay, Paul and Michelle Tanguay and Rob Tanguay. She is also survived by her many loving cousins, great-aunts, great-uncles and her extra special extended family members … you know who you are!

Natasha was predeceased by her grandfather, Thurl Hinkley; aunt, Lisa Tanguay; cousin, Jeromy Tanguay; and her loving great-grandparents.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered “Come To Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you and saw you pass away and although we love you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest, God broke our hearts to prove to us, he only takes the best. We love you and will miss you all the days of our life … Mom and Dad.
