LEWISTON — Elizabeth Ann General Store at East Avenue and Sabattus Street will celebrate its 40th anniversary with a customer appreciation day Friday, Jan. 22. The store will feature sales, giveaways and drawings.
Elizabeth Ann was founded in 1976 by Donald Everett Sr. and became the area’s first 24-hour convenience store. He named it in his late wife’s honor.
In the event of bad weather, the celebration will be moved to Jan. 29.
